Have
your say on our local NHS
Please
help with Yvonne Emmerson-Peirce's Inquiry into the state
of the NHS locally by completing our questionnaire. The more
information we have, the stronger our campaign.
|
|
Background
Information:
- Under
the Conservatives, the number of nurses fell by 50,000,
waiting lists soared to record levels, and the number of
available hospital beds nearly halved.
- Here
in Wiltshire, operations were cancelled, local hospitals
were at breaking point and budget deficits grew.
- Instead
of rescuing the NHS, Labour have failed to make the necessary
early investment needed, forcing cuts in local health budgets.
- Now
Lib Dem Leader Charles Kennedy has asked Yvonne Emmerson-Peirce
to undertake the first ever Inquiry into health care in
our part of the country as part of a national Inquiry to
monitor if the Government's new health package really gives
our NHS the improvements it desperately needs.
We
want to know what local people think about the local health
care services we all have to use and rely on. Please use this
survey to have your say today.
